Camera & Webcam
Add a personal touch to your recordings with webcam overlay.
Enabling the camera
- Click the camera icon in the recording toolbar
- Select your preferred camera from the dropdown
- The preview shows what viewers will see
Camera positions
Choose where your camera appears on screen:
| Position | When to use |
|---|---|
| Bottom-right | Default, unobtrusive |
| Bottom-left | When content is on the right |
| Top-right | For certain layouts |
| Top-left | Matches some presentation styles |
| Custom | Drag to place anywhere |
Camera shapes
- Circle — Clean, modern look (most popular)
- Rectangle — Traditional webcam style
- Rounded Rectangle — Balanced appearance
Size adjustment
Use the slider to adjust camera size from 10% to 40% of screen width.
Tip: Smaller is often better. Your content should be the focus, not your face.
Camera effects
Background blur
Keeps focus on you by blurring your environment.
- Mild blur for subtle effect
- Strong blur for busy backgrounds
Best practices
- Lighting — Face a light source, not away from it
- Eye level — Position camera at eye height when possible
- Framing — Center yourself with some headroom
- Background — Keep it clean and professional
- Distance — Not too close, not too far
